Every person needs proper or adequate amount of sleep to stay healthy. Many of us think that 8 hours of sleep a day is enough. So what does science really say? Today I will discuss in detail about sleep.
Sleep time varies with age. For example, a pregnant mother needs 2 hours more sleep than usual during the first three months of pregnancy. Those who have teens need 9 hours daily. And adults need 6 to 8 hours. If time is not judged here, it can be said that it is enough for a person to sleep as much as he normally or uninterruptedly. Scientists have conducted many other studies on human sleep and published a statistic which is as follows-
- Newborn baby 0-2 months daily - 12-18 hours.
- Newborn 3-11 months daily - 14-15 hours.
- 1-3 year old child - 12-14 hours daily.
- 3 to 5 year old children daily - 11-13 hours.
- Children from 5 to 10 years daily - 10-11 hours.
- 8.5-9.5 hours daily for teenagers or teenagers between the ages of 11-18.
- Adults or those over the age of 18 need 8-9 hours of sleep daily.
Many professions do not get enough sleep if you want to. In this case, you should try to make up for the rest of the sleep at other times of the day. Studies have also shown that people who do not get enough sleep often suffer from some physical problems such as headaches, fatigue, lack of strength when going to work, and even serious accidents while driving.
What you need to do for normal sleep-
Go to bed at exactly the same time every night. If possible, try to go a little earlier. Before going to bed, refrain from tea, coffee and caffeinated foods and eating on a full stomach. Take the TV out of your bedroom and put it in another room. Do not watch TV before going to bed at night and do not use all kinds of electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptops, etc. Go to bed after wearing as thin clothes as possible. When you go to sleep after a tight carp, your body's blood circulation will be disrupted as compared to normal and you will not sleep properly
