Kim Jong Un says it could take a year or more to launch the 3rd phase of Corona in Singapore.

The people of Singapore must be prepared for the 3rd phase of the tax, which could last for a year or more, Health Minister Gan Kim Young said on Wednesday (November 4th).  This is even as the multi-ministerial task force dealing with COVD-19 has drawn up a roadmap that will see the country enter the third phase of its reopening by the end of this year.

The co-chair of the task force, Mr.  Instead, it will be a "new generic" that will remain in place until the virus is brought under control in other parts of the world until an effective treatment or vaccine is developed.

"In this context, we need to take action and equip ourselves with equipment that will enable us to stay safe, as we allow ourselves to be more comfortable, to work and even to celebrate big events," he said.

Minister Tampines was responding to a question from GRC MP Cheng Li Hui, who considered the criteria to be considered when considering the maximum number of people for a ceremony such as a wedding.  It also includes whether additional security measures can be put in place to reduce these risks.  Analysis shows that coronaviruses are more likely to be infected in a social setting, he noted.

"In Singapore, we've brought together the Safra Jurong Dinner and the Mei Hwan Drive Condominium family, which have been seen forming large clusters around the Chinese New Year.  When we are with family and friends, we tend to underestimate the guard, ”he said.

He said the need to remove masks while eating is also a high risk of eating together, adding that it should involve people from different groups to multiply.  "So, we've taken a cautious approach to increasing the size of the group," he said, explaining the reason why eight people are currently allowed to be five.

“Taking the picnic table for example, many used to sit with about 10 people before COVID-19.  So about eight people being able to take the most of these tables while allowing some extra distance than in the past. ”

While gatherings of any size pose a risk of COVID-19 spreading, it is not significant or desirable to deny social gatherings for long periods of time, the minister said, adding that a balance needs to be struck.

"Therefore, the 8th Phase 3 gathering strikes a careful balance between maintaining a safe distance and allowing larger parties to come together," he said.

He added that higher power limits may be allowed in settings where safe management measures can be effectively applied to reduce risk, and where interactions between different groups can be conducted.

 "Key Enablers"

Pre-event COVID-19 testing is a “key enabler” that could resume further activity within potentially high power limits, Mr. Song said.

"We continue to use pre-event testing to safely promote high-risk activities, including weddings, reducing the likelihood of a COVID-19 mammal being present at an event, thus reducing the risk of infection."

He noted that alternative test kits, such as the Antigen Rapid Test, which can return fairly accurate results within half an hour, are being used for a short turnaround time for testing before events occur.

However, these are not as accurate as the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test, Mr Gan said, adding that the PCR test is a "final test" to confirm the veracity of the CVVD-19 case.

“As such, pre-event testing helps reduce the chances of appearing in a COVID-positive case at the event, but it cannot completely eliminate it, and safe management measures at the event still need to be observed,” he said.

Mr. Ga also pointed to strengthening the ability to search for communication through progressive rolling as another "key enabler" from SafeEntry-only.

"If any of your close contacts with this incident become a Cavid-19 case and you become infected, expedite efforts to find a contact to allow you to provide first aid," he said.

The government will continue to work with businesses to ensure compliance with safe management measures.  He said ambassadors and enforcement officials at safe distances would continue to advise members of the public on safe distances, and take action where necessary.

"We must establish the right attitude in society and make sure that we are all committed to maintaining that discipline, even as we progress to the 3rd stage, even if we improve to the 3rd stage," he said.  Said.

Mr Gaan said the third step was to "reach a stable state of effective economic and social activity" until effective vaccines or treatments were widely available.

"If we can provide more capacity and risk mitigation that allows for resumption and scaling of activities, we will," he said, adding that targeted measures will be taken as the situation worsens.  .

Mr Gunn said: "We must not let our security down and we should not be complacent about safe management measures, as doing so could lead to a resurgence of COVID-19 and keep all our sacrifices away."  .

Although Singapore is now in a much better position to handle any potential spike than it was earlier this year, the country will not be complacent, he said.

"In some cases, if there is excess, we have to respond quickly and with determination.  We cannot deny the need to re-apply pressure or introduce new measures to control the virus, ”he said.
